Plans and billing
The free trial
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial of Super Station. You don't need a card. The Plan tab of your Account page shows how many days are left.
You can subscribe at any time during the trial. If you do, you keep the rest of your trial days, and your first payment is taken when the trial ends. (With less than about two days of trial left, billing starts straight away.)
Rig, Shack and Super Station
Until October 2026 these plans were called Novice, General and Extra. Only the names changed: what each includes and what it costs stay the same, and existing subscriptions carry on as they were.

Send another ham with your referral link and you get a month free when they subscribe; they get a 30-day trial. See Referrals.
Inviting other operators to your station (three included with Super Station, more at $25 a year each) and the AI assistant are planned but aren't available yet. The plans list them as coming soon.
Plan limits apply when you operate remotely. At the shack, on the shack computer's own network, the console controls everything.
If your station has more radios than your plan covers, the radios you added first are the ones you can operate. See Several radios at one station.
Every plan can be paid monthly or yearly. Each plan shows its monthly price and what you save by paying for a year at once (about 17 to 18%). Current prices are on the pricing page and on the Plan tab of your Account page.
Subscribing
- Open the Plan tab of your Account page.
- Under Choose a plan, find the plan you want and click Pay monthly or Pay yearly.
- Pay on the secure checkout page. You can enter a promotion code there if you have one.
You come back to the Plan tab, which shows your plan and when it renews.
Changing plan, card or cancelling
Click Manage billing on the Plan tab of your Account page. It opens the billing portal, where you can:
- switch plans, or between monthly and yearly,
- update your card,
- see and download invoices,
- cancel.
When you cancel, your plan keeps working to the end of the period you've paid for, and the Plan tab shows the date it ends and that you won't be billed. Cancel during the free trial and it stays free until the trial ends; you're never charged.
If a payment fails
If a renewal payment fails, your station keeps working for now and the Plan tab of your Account page asks you to update your card, and the tab is marked !. Click Manage billing to do it.
When the trial or subscription ends
When your trial ends without a subscription, or a subscription ends, you can still sign in, see your Account page, edit your public page and download your transmit log, but you can't operate your station. Your console explains why and links to your Account page. Choose a plan to operate again; nothing needs to be set up again at the shack.
