Referrals

When you send another ham to RemoteMyShack, they get a longer free trial, and you get a month free once they subscribe.

Sign in at remotemyshack.com and open your Account page.
Open the Referrals tab.
Click Copy link and share it: https://remotemyshack.com/r/<yourcall>.

Your public station page shows it too. Visitors who aren't signed in see an Operate your own station from anywhere box with your referral code (your callsign) and your sign-up link, each with a Copy button, a note of their perk (a 30-day free trial instead of 14), and a Sign up with this code button that signs them up as your referral. That includes people who come to listen live. Someone signing up another way can type your callsign under Referred by.

Hams don't need the link. Anyone signing up can type your callsign under Referred by on the sign-up form.

What they get

A 30-day free trial instead of the usual 14, with everything in Super Station, like every trial. No card needed.

While RemoteMyShack is in beta, new accounts join as beta testers and use it free until the beta ends. Referred testers then get the 30-day trial instead of 14.

What you get

When someone you referred subscribes and their first payment goes through, you get a month free:

If you subscribe, a month's price of your plan comes off your next invoice. On a yearly plan, it's a month at the monthly price.
If you're still on your free trial (or it has ended and you haven't subscribed yet), your trial gets 30 more days.

We email you when someone signs up with your callsign and again when you've earned the month. You can earn up to 12 free months a year.

Starting a trial isn't enough on its own: the month comes when they pay, not when they sign up or subscribe during their trial. A referral counts once per account.

Seeing your referrals

The Referrals tab lists everyone who signed up with your callsign, when they joined, and whether they've subscribed and what you got for it. It also shows how many free months you've earned in the last 12 months.

Things to know

You can't refer yourself.
The referring callsign has to belong to a RemoteMyShack account; the sign-up form says so if it doesn't.
A referral is recorded when the account is created. It can't be added afterward.
Credits aren't cash and can't be paid out or transferred. The full rules are in the Terms of Service, section 7.
